Sky Lords 3D is a free 3D air-combat game that runs in your browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create: press play above, and you are in the cockpit of a fighter jet. You shoot down waves of enemy jets, dodge anti-aircraft fire and fight a giant boss at the end of every mission. The game was made by one developer in Marrakech, and it is updated regularly.
The campaign has twelve missions in two acts. Each one is a wave of enemies that ends with a boss, and each mission adds a new danger: a morning haze, anti-aircraft flak, a storm, a night raid. After a boss, your jet is repaired and you get a new bomb. Beat the twelfth mission and you win the campaign, then you can keep flying in endless mode. The campaign guide describes every mission, and the boss guide gives the health points of the six bosses.
You earn points and credits for every kill and much more for each boss. In the hangar you can buy five more fighters, from the Rafale to the F-35 Lightning II, each with different speed, agility and firepower: see the jet comparison. Each new day you play gives you a bonus of credits, and the bonus grows if you come back several days in a row. Your progress, credits and best score are stored in your browser, so you do not need to log in.
If you like old games, try the 8-bit retro mode, a small free shooter in the style of early console classics where you fly up a river, shoot enemies and refuel.
