How it flies
Where it shines is the boss fight. Every shot counts when a boss has 25 or 32 health points, and the F-35 fires more shots than any other jet in the same time. The price you pay is agility: at 7 it turns slowly, so flak and enemy bullets are harder to dodge. Plan your movements early instead of reacting at the last second.
The real aircraft
The real F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine stealth multirole fighter made by Lockheed Martin, built in three versions: one for conventional runways, one for short takeoff and vertical landing, and one for aircraft carriers. It first flew in 2006.
Who should choose it
Buy it last, when you have 7,500 credits, and use it for the boss missions. If you struggle with flak in mission 3 or 6, the Rafale is the better choice for those.
