Sky Lords 3D tips and tricks
Whether you just started or keep dying in the same wave, these ten tips will help you last longer in Sky Lords 3D.
1. Learn the controls first
Move with W, A, S, D or the arrow keys. On an AZERTY keyboard the same physical keys (Z, Q, S, D) work. Space fires, B drops a bomb and M opens the hangar.
2. Never stay still
A jet that keeps moving is much harder to hit. Drift left and right while you shoot instead of holding one position.
3. Save your bombs
You start with three bombs. Keep them for bosses and for moments when several enemies attack at once. Extra bombs cost 300 credits in the hangar.
4. Watch your health
You start each mission with 100 health points. The health bar is in the top right corner: when it gets low, stop chasing kills and dodge.
5. Use the hangar between missions
Press M to spend your credits on a new aircraft or on bombs, then equip the jet you want before the next mission.
6. Do not rush the most expensive jet
A cheaper jet you control well beats a powerful one you cannot handle. Read Choosing your jet before you spend.
7. Lead your shots
Enemies cross your path from the side. Fire slightly ahead of them so your bullets meet them instead of passing behind.
8. Turn the sound on
The engine note changes with your speed and explosions are easy to hear. Audio helps you feel when a fight is getting dangerous.
9. Notice the sky
The sky moves from day to sunset to night during a mission. Enemy jets are red, so they stand out against the landscape.
10. Go full screen
On the Play page, open the small menu at the bottom and choose Full screen for a bigger view and fewer distractions.
